This simple and very popular restaurant serves typical Southern barbecues, and it is designed to quench the hunger without any fanfare.

You won't find any dainty or elaborate dishes here, just good old fashioned grilled ribs, chicken (a quarter or half a bird), some hearty side dishes (baked beans, potato salad or coleslaw) and an assortment or beer and soft drinks.

Better than a fast food, though not exactly the healthiest menu you can find, but it's the best of Southern barbecued meat and hospitality.

Address:
1811 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, USA

Price:
$9.75 half a slab or ribs, $1.20 the baked beans and $3.25 a glass of beer.

Opening Hours:
Mon - Thurs 11:30 - 11:30
Fri & Sat 11:30 - 12:30am
Sunday 1:00 - 11:30
