Wo liegt Bagkok?

Bangkok ist die große Hauptstadt Thailands und heißt Übersetzt „Die Stadt der Engel“. Ca. 6.859 Millionen Einwohner wohnen dort. Die Jahresdurchschnittstemperatur beträgt ca. 28, 4 Grad.

Sehenswürdigkeiten

In Bangkok gibt es über 400 buddhistische Tempelanlagen. Der berühmteste Tempel heißt „Wat Phra Kalo“. Es gibt ein Nationalmuseum, ein Nationaltheater und eine Nationalgalerie in Bangkok. Außerdem gibt es das Jim-Thompson-Haus. Die Lak- Mueang Stadtsäule ist ein großes Heiligtum der Stadt. Der Wimanmek-Palast ist das größte Teakholz Gebäude der Welt. Die Memory Bridge ist die erste Brücke die zwischen Bangkok und Thonburi. Dann gibt es noch das schöne Victory Monument.

Parks

Der Lumphini Park ist der größte in Bankok. Dort gibt es einen großen küntzlichen See, wo man Ruder- und Trettboot fahren kann. Der König-Ramo-der sechste-Park hat über 80 Hektar. Der Romaninat Park war bis Mitte 1990 ein großes schreckliches Stadtgefängnis. Natürlich gibt es noch viel mehr große Parks, die man in Bangkok besuchen kann und sich dort ausruhen.

Freizeit

Der Dusit Zoo ist der größte in Bangkok. Auf der Aneal gibt es viele schöne Cafes und große küntzliche Seen. Es gibt zwei große Fußballstadien und noch ganz viele kleine. Meist wird Thaiboxen (Muay Thai), eine Art Ballspiel (Sepak Takraw) und Drachenkämpfe dort angeschaut. Es gibt viele Staatliche Feiertage und schöne religiöse Feste. Wie das große Neujahrfest oder Visakha Bucha, das größte buddhistische Fest. Dort werden zwischen Februar und März Drachenkämpfe angeschaut.

Essen

An jeder Ecke gibt es Garküchen, Straßen- und Marktstände. Gegessen werden dort Suppen, Snacks, Gemüse, Nudeln mit verschiedenen Soßen und Reis. Die Restaurants stehen höchstens 50m auseinander. Außerdem gibt es viele Einkaufszentren.

Verkehr

Hauptsächlich werden Taxis und Autos benützt. Aber es gibt auch Schiffe, Eisenbahnen, Busse, Schiffe und Tuktuks. Kleine motorartige Fahrzeuge.

Bangkok History

After the Ayutthaya Empire lost to the Burmese Kingdom in 1767, Taksin was declared king. Taksin established a new capital in the area which was then called Bangkok. The place was later known as Thonburi. After Taksin's reign ended in 1782, the capital was reconstructed on the east bank of the river by King Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke and the city.
