Hunedoara Sights

The main museal attraction in Hunedoara is the Corvin Castle, the most important laic monument of gothic architecture in Romania. The access can be made though the west wing gate, built in the fifteen century, cross the wooden bridge built over Zlasti Stream. On the right one can admire at the first floor a building housing the Chevaliers Room, built in a pure gothic style by John of Hunedoara in 1452. At the second floor tourists can visit the Diet Room, with access from an outdoor staircase, having on both sides of the door the Corvin family coat of arms, room transformed afterwards by Gabriel Bethlen.
