Tripoli International Airport is located at 34 kilometres from the city centre. The airport is a hub for Libyan Airlines, but many other major foreign airlines operate flights to and from Tripoli. Domestic flights are available only to and from a handful of destinations, for example Benghazi, Sebha and Ghadames.
