Budapest is the capital of Hungary. This is a city where everyday happens something interesting - there are festivals, cultural events, concerts, interesting expositions and many more.

The traffic in this city is quite bad, so if you want a bit of adventure use public transport instead of your car. There are many buses, trams, subways so you can reach your destination relatively fast but you have to know which one to choose. The people on the streets are quite friendly so they will try to help you if you ask them, but in summer there are quite a lot of tourists so don't be surprised if you don't get an answer from the first man you meet.

The 20th of August is the national holiday in Hungary so every bigger city organizes different activities but at the end of the day there are fireworks everywhere. Last year I had the opportunity to see these fireworks here in Budapest. It was really beautiful, long and they played music while we were watching the different shaped and colored fireworks.

There are so many thing here to see and do that you will need more than one day if you want to see a bigger part of it.
