Patrai is a nice Greek town, Greece

Patra is a big harbour city. You havent got much in the city besides one beach, adjacent to the industrial harbour. When we got in the taxi, telling him to drive us to the beach, we didnt know it, he drove us to the so called 'Rion beach'. Was a stone chip beach, approx. 2 metres broad, with bars and clubs like at Mallorca and one single camping ground, that wasnt really cheap.
Patra i wouldn't recommend as a city to visit, just pass through it and leave. There're a lot more places that are worth a visit.
The city itself is just like every other normal Greek town, nothing special about it.

That explosion is said to have finished the initial settlement of this land, which was actually a single land during those days, and forming multiple islands which we see today. In no time the islands were again inhabited by humans and today they have become as one of the most famous... Read more »
