If you're interested in ancient greek history, you should visit the ancient city of Argos. The city got it's name after the giant who had a thousand eyes and watched over the treasures of the gods. There are beautiful ruins, places for great pictures and the landscape is also nice.
The modern city is a typical Greek provincial town, nothing special about it. Maybe that you can have good food in some restaurant There arent many things you can do, but if you are motorized, just take yourself time to look at ancient Argos.
