China Travel Yangshuo

Yang shuo is located at the bank of Li River, 60 kilometers away from Guilin city. The unique karsts physiognomy breeds the special landscape of Yangshuo. There are more than 20thousand strange peaks dotted, 16rivers winding through, over 110scene sites scattered. It has been praised as” the most beautiful scenery in Guilin”. The 56kilometers of Li River traverses Yangshuo, with strange peaks standing on both banks, lush bamboos swaying in breeze, which is one of the most beautiful parts in Yangshuo. The cruise from Li River to Yangshuo is very popular with tourists.

Being famous for its” green mountains, limpid waters, strange peaks and wonderful caves”, Yangshuo has attracted nearly 20million tourists from domestic and overseas since1978, including more than 150monarches from abroad. In July 1998, American president, Bill Clinton, cruised on Li River to Yangshuo, and gave a high praise to the section. Since Yangshuo has been an ideal destination for tourists around the world, there are numerous people to visit it everyday.

Having a long history of 1400years, Yangshuo has formed its unique style. The diligent and wise people created their own culture, such as long drum dance, dragon and lion dance. The people are good at singing and dancing. If come to Yangshuo, you will not miss the world famous opera” impression on Sanjie Liu”, which bases real mountains and rivers as its background. The diverse minority ethic groups including Hui, Zhuang, Yao and others, enrich it with special folk cultures represented by a variety of festivals such as, Folk Song Singing Festival, Fishing lights festival and more. Tourists can not only enjoy the local performance but also take part in various entertainment competitions. The foreigners living in Yangshuo has added exotic flavors to the county. Attracted by the charm of Yangshuo, many foreigners make Yangshuo as their home. The Cafés managed by foreigners make the county special.

Thanks to subtropical climate, Yangshuo abounds with sunlight and rainfall. It is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter.
