As popular as it is newly, adventure travel is still perceived as expensive for most of us. I intend to prove you that you can have exciting experiences during your vacations without having to spend a lot of money on costly organized tours and professional guides.
So here come a couple of affordable adventure travel ideas but feel free to let us know about your stories in the comment section.
Create your own travel stories
As Eurostar’s video below proves it, you can create your own travel stories and adventures, and you can do it without spending a lot of money. Just have to see life as positive and breathe in every new experience.
Alligator adventure in St. Augustine, Florida
Along Florida’s northeast coast, at the Saint Augustine Alligator Farm you can try zip lining in a different way than before. Imagine yourself doing the so called ‘crocodile crossing’, basically zip lining over the park full of alligators, crocodiles and other kinds of reptiles.

You can choose from a shorter and a longer trip. The shorter one, called Sepik River Course, is at a height of 20 feet involving 3 zip lines and lasting for 45 minutes. The longer one, Nile River Course, takes you to a 60 feet height for 90 minutes! But do not worry, it is all very safe! 😉
Driving with buffalo in South Dakota
Custer State Park in South Dakota, apart from being a safe home for the endangered buffalo, gives the opportunity for visitors to drive among them. Can you feel the adrenaline rush that comes with tens, if not hundreds, of huge buffalo running next to your car shaking the earth?

You should also spend the night in the wilderness of the park to feel the wildlife and nature up close. Resorts are also available, but I would suggest a tent, for a fuller experience.
