  • The most amazing shows in Las Vegas

The capital of entertainment, Sin City, the brightest place in the Nevada desert is a place where you can’t get bored for even a second. Since we’ve already looked at which casinos, golf courses, nightclubs and wedding chapels you should absolutely visit, but there’s something that we still haven’t written about: circus shows!

As fitting for such an entertainment capital, there are more traditional types of entertainment in Vegas. Remember those shows that you used to love when you were a kid? Well, in Vegas they’re bigger, saucier and more exciting than anything you’ve seen before. Here’s a list of the most amazing shows in Las Vegas.

Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular

The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most popular musicals in the whole world, so whether or not you’re a fan of musicals you have surely heard of it. Well, die hard fans now have the chance to see a brand new production in Vegas.

Much of the dialogue of the original show has been shortened, so the action is much more fast-paced, just as it should be in Vegas! You can see the show at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, one of the glitziest and most exclusive casinos in Vegas.

    Ka – Cirque du Soleil

If you’ve ever been so lucky as to see any of Cirque du Soleil’s productions, then you know that you can expect only the best from anything that the troupe puts its mind to do. They have several shows in Vegas, and Ka is by far the most fascinating.

Unlike other Cirque du Soleil shows, Ka is less abstract and it tells a very straightforward story. You will be swept right into the middle of a story about love and conflict, with the help of the complex automation, pyrotechnics, puppetry, and multimedia projections used in the show.

Blue Man Group: Bluephoria/Live at The Venetian

Blue Man Group is quite well known in the world of entertainment for their funny and innovative shows that combine multimedia, music and comedy. The performers are called the Blue Men, they have no ears or voice but still they manage to make the audience roar with laughter. Since there is little dialogue in the show, the popularity of the group spread like fire in the rest of the world. You can see their Bluephoria show at the Venetian.

    O – Cirque du Soleil

It’s not surprise that another one of Cirque du Soleil’s show has made this list, especially since ‘O’ is a good old fashioned Cirque du Soleil performance, unlike Ka. The performance takes place in, around and above a pool of water containing over 1.5 million gallons of water (the show’s name is a pun on the French pronunciation of the word eau, meaning water).

Over 85 acrobats, synchronized swimmers and divers will put on a show that you won’t forget anytime soon. You can see O at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
