The 170 kilometers of ski pistes will satisfy even the most hardcore ski fans, and and although the slopes around the resort can sometimes be a bit crowded, there’s enough space for everyone.

Whistler-Blackcomb is known to be one of the best ski resorts in North America, and it has some impressive ski slopes stretched over mountains Whistler and Blackcomb.

Despite a few vertical drops of 5000 feet and more, this resort has pistes for every skill level, and there are plenty of restaurants, equipment shops and even nightlife spots where you can relax after skiing.

    Zermatt, Switzerland

Zermatt might not be the most famous ski resort in Switzerland, but many consider it one of the best. Beginner and intermediate skiers can slide away on the slopes surrounding Zermatt without running into any dangerous spots, although off-piste skiing in the area does require a certain level of experience. For a change of scenery, you can take the list and cross the Italian border to the nearby resort of Cervinia.

Ski resorts in the Balkans are becoming more and more popular, and now is the best time to visit them before they become too crowded. Mount Jahorina was the venue for the 1984 Winter Olympics, and it looks like it is intent on recapturing its former glory.

Jahorina has a lot of scenic vistas, and it is just as great for those who want to put their intermediate skiing skills to practice as for those who just want to relax.

    Smuggler’s Notch, Vermont, USA

The mountains of New England are beautiful when they are covered in snow, and one of the best places to take advantage of the scenery is the scenic small town of Cambridge.

Smuggler’s Notch has amazing skiing facilities, including activities and daycare for children. While adventurous skiers might find the slopes in Smuggler’s Notch a bit boring, the resort compensates with other things to keep you busy with.
