Five Affordable Beach Destinations

Although the upcoming summer calls for some days of total relaxation in the exclusive company of foamy waves, salty breeze and a bucketful of ice cream, many of you are probably wondering if, after all this financial crisis hysteria, it would be wise to spend your already compromised savings on some exotic beach vacation.

Well, first of all, you must take into account that tour operators and everyone in the tourism business are not doing so well, either – many of them are still willing to lower their rates. Second, if everyone would go to Ibiza, Copacabana or Miami, things could get really ugly.

And third, why not taking the small risk of exploring some little known destination, where you could get more privacy, all the excitement of discovering a new culture and surprising landscapes – all these for more than decent rates? Just drop a an eye of these amazing destinations:

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

The central American country of Costa Rica in no longer a secret among adventurers, budget travelers and mountaineers. Although most visitors are attracted by Costa Rica’s numerous national parka and unique species, places like Puerto Viejo will make you radically change your opinion about how a perfect beach vacation should look like.

Rovinj, Croatia

It’s hard to imagine any other summer destination where you can get so much for so less. Croatia’s Dalmatian coast is nothing but rocky shores and small islands, which, are in most cases, separated only by a narrow, turquoise piece of water. The historic town of Rovinj awaits you with its dozens of summer events, old medieval centre and beautiful beaches.

Turkey

The Turkish coast has all the attributes of Mediterranean coastline (clear waters, ancient ruins, white villas and delicious cuisine), with the only exception that a vacation in Turkey is much more affordable that one in Spain, France or Italy. With its small harbors and coquette villages, the Lycian Coast is the pearl of the Turkish seaside. Some of the most popular resorts are Ilsamlar, Falarya and Turung Bay.

Morro de Sao Paolo, Brazil

The colorful Brazil is not only about tanned top-models, samba drums and the crowds of Copacabana beach. All along the Brazilian coast you’ll find plenty of half-deserted beaches, whose only inhabitants are solitary couples and some scattered surfer communities. Morro de Sao Paolo and its splendid beaches are just prefect for a romantic escape, or, by contrary, for the joining a crazy surfer party and dance till dawn.

Mauritius

Letting yourself pampered by the tranquil, warm waters of the Indian ocean is the first step towards a perfect beach vacation. Guarded by coral reefs, Mauritius beaches are just perfect for snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming with the dolphins. Fell free to adventure yourself into the lush tropical forest and discover the island’s fascinating traditions, hospitable inhabitants and spectacular nature.

Amazing places and countries I know two of then and it is wonderful be there you can enjoy it so much, I went there when my husband had Prostate Surgery and even he enjoyed
