Cheap Bahamas vacations under $500 pp

As you will see, an exotic Bahamas vacation in not only possible if you have a lot in your pocket. There are a lot more budget friendly options that still offer great comfort and Caribbean hospitality in this beautiful corner of the world. Today we bring you some of the best cheap hotels on the islands, so your Bahamas vacation under $500 can become more than a dream.
Comfort Suites, Paradise Island, Bahamas
This first resort is not only affordable, but it’s located a few steps away from the beaches and waters of Paradise Island. Comfort Suites is part of the amazing Atlantis Paradise Island Resort Complex and it is linked to downtown Nassau by a bridge. This puts you very close to all the shopping, dining and nightlife of the capital of Bahamas.

One of the best things about the resort is that guests are free to use all the amenities of the huge Atlantic Complex including pools, restaurants and bars or activities. Another huge plus is that – in case of a family vacation – two of your kids that are 15 or under will stay free, plus you get free Wi-fi and breakfast. Comfort Suites is smoke free and eco-friendly, featuring solar powered heating, energy efficient lighting and water conservation. We have found a room at this Bahamas hotel for only $74 per night.
Orchard Garden Hotel and Suites, Nassau, Bahamas
The nice and comfortable Orchard Garden Hotel and Suites is located in Nassau, very close to the white beaches of the island and also to Atlantis Aquarium as well as The Retreat Garden National Park where you can discover the exotic wildlife of the Bahamas. All the resort’s 40 rooms and suites are air conditioned and have a private patio or balcony.

Note that your children under 12 year can stay free at the resort. The hotel has got a nice tropical garden, a large swimming pool and they also offer wedding services on request. Guests get free Wi-fi and free parking and rooms have ceiling fans, cable channels, en suite bathroom and more amenities. We have found rooms at the Orchard Garden from $39 per night.
Hilton Nassau British Colonial, Bahamas
Some nine miles away from Nassau International Airport (NAS), on the only private beach in the center of the capital you can find the elegant Hilton Nassau British Colonial. It is not actually a budget hotel as it’s got all the amenities and elegance for a high end vacation, but we have searched and found it for only $79 per night for late August 2015.

The resort has got all the things for a perfect cheap Bahamas vacation. It has an outdoor pool with pleasant water, Jacuzzi and a state of the art fitness center. Rooms come with ocean or island view – they are equally beautiful – and decorated and furnished in colonial style. With the on site restaurant and cocktail bar you do not have to worry where to spend your evenings, but remember that all the dining and entertainment of downtown Nassau are only a short distance from you.

Only a 20 minute drive away from Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO) you can find the Flamingo Bay Hotel and Marina on the sandy beaches of the island. You will not find a view more stunning over the ocean and beaches than from the 66 units of the three floor hotel.

The resort has got the largest pool on the whole island as well as a beautiful beach with powder white sand. Bookings include free Wi-fi and free parking plus full access to all the amenities of the neighboring Taino Beach Resort and Club. Flamingo Bay Hotel has got a Grotto Bar by the pool and an a la carte restaurant. Rooms feature air conditioning, a kitchenette, fridge and washing machine plus TV with cable channels. Note that the cheapest nightly rate we have found for this resort is $37.
Grand Lucayan Resort, Freeport, Bahamas
The Grand Lucayan Resort is located on the island of Grand Bahama, about a 15 minute drive away from Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO) and steps away from Port Lucaya’s Marketplace with lots of shops and restaurants. It is an award winning hotel with a casino, three swimming pools and numerous dining options and bars.

Rooms offer great views of the island or the ocean, are decorated stylishly in Caribbean style and have at least 400 feet of floor space. Accommodations also have a patio or balcony, bathroom with a combined tub and shower plus bathrobes, one king size bed, television with cable channels plus all the usual amenities of a great hotel room. We have found a room at the hotel for as low as $65 per night for early September, so it could be perfect for a Bahamas vacation under $500.
Best Western Bay View Suites, Paradise Island, Bahamas
Located on Paradise Island, the Best Western Bay View Suites is very close to the Atlantis Resort and Casino, the Marina Village and Hartford Beach. Tropical gardens and beautiful beaches surround this hotel with budget friendly accommodations but great services. You can find one restaurant on site and two more only minutes away but you can also make your own meals in the kitchen of your suite.
Suite at Best Western bay View Resort
Bookings include free Wi-fi, free parking, lounge chars and towels and the use of the resort’s tennis courts day and night. All suites have a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and all other usual amenities. Prices start from $87 per night for a suite, perfect for a low budget Bahamas vacation.
