Donington Antiques Market, Derby, Derbyshire, UK
The Donington Antique market takes place monthly in the park of the scenic Donington Castle, and it is aimed mainly at people in the antique trade, but that doesn’t exclude enthusiastic amateurs from showing up and looking around. If you want to trade something, you have to be there from 6:30 AM until 8 AM, after which the public is also invited to come and browse through the stuff of over 150 vendors.
Stoke on Trent Antiques and Collectors Fair, Staffordshire, UK
If you happen to be in the UK on August 21, you can visit the Stoke on Trent Antique Fair, an even that draws together more than 250 vendors. This fair will be the largest antique fair ever in Stoke on Trent, and it promises to have some very interesting pieces on sale!
The Pier Antiques Show, New York City, USA
This fantastic show held in November 19-20 has over 600 vendors, which means that you’re chances of finding something that you like are 100%. This antique fair is a staple for New Yorkers, and also well known internationally. The show also has a fashion alley and vintage collection, so those who are interested in vintage clothing will have plenty of stalls to browse trough.
Brimfield Antique Show, Massachusetts
This legendary antique fair sprawls on a one mile stretch o Route 20, in Brimfield, and draws hundreds of dealers who put up their wares on the side of the road. You can find anything here, from inexpensive bakelite bangles to fancy Victorian furniture. If you have the patience to browse and haggle with the dealers, chances are that you will be going home with an entire treasure trove.
