    Bangkok

    Bangkok

The whole country of Thailand is moving into a family friendly direction in the last couple of year and so does the capital, Bangkok. As a large metropolis it does not lack things to see and do, but many of its attractions are especially perfect for those traveling with kids and teenagers.

From the numerous family activities in Bangkok I have tried to collect the best ones. Didn’t make up your mind about traveling to Thailand yet? Watch the short video about much fun kids and families can have in this exotic country.

    Mansion 7

The most unusual – and I think  most fun – of all Bangkok attractions for families is Mansion 7, a big shopping mall entirely disguised an old spooky mansion. Beside the loads of cool shops and some of the best restaurants in Bangkok the place has got its own haunted house that visitors can tour and also a huge and creepy moon…
The place is open every day from noon till at least midnight.

    Siam Ocean World

This amazing aquarium is right under the very posh, very elite Siam Paragon Shopping Center. The establishment is very fancy, you can see everything here from shark pool to penguin section. You can also witness the feeding of some animals and put your feet into tubs to feel the fish touching it… great for kids.

    Safari World

Truly one of the best family activities in the city, Safari World has got two large sections. One is a drive through zoo with zebras, loins, giraffes and more that you can admire from the safety of your car/ bus and the other is a marine park with aquariums as well as live shows and animal exhibitions.

    Ancient City

This wonderful place is a replica of the most well known landmarks in Bangkok and all of Thailand. Ancient temples and palaces are gathered here from all over the country in one ‘city’ less than 1 hour driving away from the capital. As the site is still pretty large, you should rent a bike or a golf cart, but you can also cruise the lake of the city.

    Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm

Supposedly the largest crocodile farm in the world is… well, full of crocodiles. It is the coolest thing you can do with your kids to go on a croc show and watch someone put their hand into a crocodile’s mouth, then walk away unharmed. You can also see hypos, elephants and much more – the whole family will love it!
