Kathmandu, A Place with Many Gods
The capital of Nepal is filled with a wonderful world temples
Kathmandu is surrounded by a mysterious air when the morning fog comes from the cold and frozen valleys of the Himalayas. The temples and statues of deities are covered with snow and the strong wind blows the gongs while you can smell the cold smoke of a burning rotten wood. The Newar locals believe the fact that this atmosphere brings spiritual purification, all the bad thoughts and sins being taken far away by the smoke. This is Kathmandu, traditional yet extremely beautiful in its own way.

Seoul With Its Last Palaces
A city with prime rank boosted after the devastation of the Korean War
What was mighty in Seoul suddenly disappeared, and what was little has become immense. An example is the Namdaeumun which is now the largest traditional market in Seoul. It was built with numerous grey cobble stones crowned by two big roofs which represents the glory and pride of the capital, being a road to the royal residence. Now this symbol is guarded by a fence, giving an impression that it’s an island in the middle of a crossroad. It’s a little construction compared to its skyscraper neighbors.

Valparaiso, The Most Important Port of Chile
Valparaiso was considered for a very long time “the pearl of the Pacific”. The city has a troublesome history.
Pablo Neruda knew why he choose one of the 50 hills of the city. The poet already had a house in Santiago and a villa at a beach on an Island called Isla Negra. It is situated about 80 km at large, when he came back from exile in 1952, being rich and famous, he moved there.
But the most important fact is that this man was so obsessed with ships. It must have been an impressive panorama of the port and the city scene from La Florida hill. Even nowadays the tourists and the poet’s fans cross through every obstacle just to see the place.

Edinburgh The Heart of Scotland
I am totally blessed by the fact that I visited Edinburgh, cause it has one of the most beautiful surroundings ever. Mountains, lakes, cliffs, beaches, Edinburgh has it all besides the stunning architecture. It is Scotland’s capital, and it has such a vibrant life, filled with bars, clubs and of course, traditional Scottish pubs with beer and whiskey.

Salzburg
Salzburg is the storybook of Austria. Standing beside the fast-flowing Salzach River, your gaze is raised inch by inch to the Altstadt’s mosaic of graceful domes and spires, the formidable cliff-top fortress and the mountains beyond. The view never disappoints and interestingly it never fails you.
I think that this amazing place, Salzburg is Austria’s best city. It is full of history, and though I visited other important cities like Vienna and Graz and they are beautiful on their own way, none of them rivals the charm and beauty of Salzburg. Every moment I enjoyed in Salzburg, even if you wonder around the streets, you always have a beautiful view of something, a thing that flabbergasted me the most.
The town has managed to preserve an extraordinarily rich urban fabric, developed over the period from the Middle Ages to the 19th century when it was a city-state ruled by a prince-archbishop. The city lies near the German border, it’s about an hour drive from Munich and 3 hour drive from Vienna.
