The land of samba, carnivals and world famous beaches is clearly one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. But it’s not just the colorful culture of Brazil that attracts so many visitors, because another thing that Brazil has plenty of is natural beauty.
Brazil is home to some of the most extensive rainforest in the world, to the mighty Amazon river and many other wonders of nature that you couldn’t see anywhere else in the world. Brazil’s cities might be dazzling, but every traveler should also visit Brazil’s stunning natural wonders.
Poço Encantado, Chapada Diamantina National Park, Bahia
Chapada Diamantina National Park is one of the most scenic national parks in Brazil, whose mountain range, valleys and rocks make for some incredible hiking opportunities. Although the highest points of the park offer the most beautiful views, the most interesting landmark in the park is located in a cave. Poço Encantado, a pool with the bluest waters that can exist, is best seen between April and August, when it is illuminated by sunlight coming from above.
Encontro das Aguas, Manaus
The Encontro das Aguas, or Meeting of the Waters, is a very interesting natural phenomenon created at the confluence of Rio Negro and the upper part of the Amazon, also called Ri Solimoes.
The dark, almost black colored waters of Rio Negro don’t quite mingle with the sand colored waters of the Amazon because of differences in temperature, speed and density, and the two rivers flow side by side without mixing for six kilometers.
Iguazu Falls, Parana
The waterfalls on river Iguazu are some of the largest and most beautiful in the world, taller than Niagara and wider than Victoria Falls. The falls are close to the Argentinian border, and attract visitors from both Brazil and Argentina – and the waterfall it shared between national parks in both countries. The Brazilian side of Iguazu has a pleasant walkway along the canyon, where you can admire the waterfall from a great vantage point.

There are many guided wildlife watching tours in Pantanal, most of them leaving from Campo Grande, Cuiaba or Corumba, which are the three gateway to the area.
Praia do Sancho, Fernando de Noronha
Praia de Sancho on the island of Fernando de Noronha is considered to be among the most beautiful beaches in the world.
