  • The most luxurious hotel suites in the world

I’m sure that everyone has fantasized about spending at least a few nights in a luxury hotel, being waited on hand and foot, ordering gourmet room service and enjoying the most expensive jacuzzis, swimming pools you can ever imagine. Well, if you want to make your dream come true, you have to be prepared to seriously empty your bank account, because a room like this costs in the $15,000, and that’s without taxes! Here’s a list of the most expensive hotels in the world, hotels where only royalty, stars and magnates have access to (or people who have been saving up for it all their lives).

Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel, Geneva

If you ask me, the best thing about this suit is the view: the Alps and Lake Geneva. Unfortunately, the suit is reserved for heads of state (so you’d have to become president to spend a night there). This suite is equipped with a private elevator, bullet proof windows, and it is decorated in a modern style.

While this suite is not available to commoners, there are plenty of other similarly luxurious rooms to choose from. Be prepared to dish out more than $30,000 per night. If you don’t necessarily want to sleep in a suite, you can choose a room (superior, prestige, and prestige lake view), which are marginally more affordable.

Ty Warner Penthouse, Four Seasons Hotel, New York

Designed by the legendary architect I.M. Pei, the Four Seasons Hotel is something to behold. The Ty Warner Penthouse has nine rooms (what you would need them for, I can’t imagine) with walls inlaid with mother of pearl and gold woven fabric. Seems a bit exaggerated? Well, to top it all off, the suit is located on the 52nd floor, and it has floor to ceiling windows – imagine the view!

And let’s not forget the waterfall in the Zen Room, the grand piano in the library or the tub overlooking Central Park. Oh, and you also get a a personal trainer and a 24/7 butler, plus a chauffeur driving a Rolls-Royce or a Maybach.

Villa La Capula Suite, Westin Excelsior, Rome

The hotel is located on the famous Via Veneto, which is already a good enough reason to pump up the price, and the suit in questions occupies the last two floors of the hotel, amounting to 6,099 square feet.

This suite is the paramount of opulence, with its a cupola, a Pompeii-style Jacuzzi, frescoes (which recall the atmosphere of ancient Roman baths), stained glass windows and a whopping 2,000 square feet balcony with a sundeck overlooking Via Veneto. The highlights of this suite are the antique Murano glass chandelier, a private wine cabinet with over 150 wines and a library with carved wood paneling.

    Presidential Suite, Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

This suite costs about $25,000 per night, but we know for sure that the view is worth it (although you could get more or less the same from the top of Tokyo Tower), seeing as the rooms are on the 53rd floor.

The suit are decorated in a melange of old and new, but everything is the epitome of taste and style. You get a personal concierge, the huge bathroom is made of marble and a lush four poster bed. If that’s not luxurious enough, you can always order a Diamonds are Forever Martini for $18,000, with a real diamond instead of an ice cube (judging by the price, I suppose you can keep the diamond).
